For three decades, Drew has been spreading PLURR on the Seattle radio dial for commercial and public stations. His journey into the dance radio realm began at 16 as a radio student here at Nathan Hale. After a stint at a mainstream top 40 station, he hosted The Vortex on DANCE 89.5 for 14 years, igniting the rhythm of the underground scene and showcasing over 500 diverse DJs who electrified the airwaves with their live sets.

These days, you can hear Drew hosting DANCE 89.5 Mornings with his student co-hosts each weekday morning.  Drew also serves as DANCE 89.5’s Operations Manager, overseeing the radio station’s day-to-day technical operation. 

When he’s not on the air or busy maintaining broadcast equipment, he’s with his two kids roaming the parks and beaches around the Puget Sound. On rainy days, he’s destroying them at Mario Kart.
